As the power of the House of Habsburg grows in the 14th century, the Swiss begin to rebel against Austrian rule. When the Austrian Viceroy Albrecht Gessler (Connor Swindells) threatens Tell's son, Tell is spurred to join the resistance movement. Rallying Switzerland's clans to the cause, he leads his people in their fight for freedom. The cast also includes Ben Kingsley, Jonah Hauer-King and Ellie Bamber.
