Naomi Ackie stars as Whitney Houston in this musical biopic directed by Kasi Lemmons. Houston achieved superstardom as a singer but her personal life was tumultuous, including her family's disapproval of Robyn Crawford (Nafessa Williams)'s presence in her life and her difficult relationship with husband Bobby Brown (Ashton Sanders).
