Double-bill of made-for-TV family dramas. In 'To Live For' (1999) after discovering she has cancer, Susan Allen (Nancy Travis) decides to spend what time she has left living life to the fullest with her ten-year-old daughter Carson (Jamie Renee Smith). She also has to make the agonising decision where to 'place' Carson after her death. Into this situation comes the irresistible stranger Michael Blake (Scott Bairstow), and, despite her initial reluctance, Susan finds out that it's never too late to fall in love. 'Deep in My Heart' (1999) follows an adopted woman's search for her roots. After being placed for adoption as a child, Barbara Ann Williams (Gloria Reuben) decides to trace her biological mother when she is diagnosed with a life-threatening condition. As she struggles to unravel the trail of her life, she discovers that her birth mother Gerry Cummins (Anne Bancroft), a white woman, was raped by a black man in the early 1960s.
