Collection of three made-for-TV intelligence thrillers starring Bill Nighy. In 'Page Eight' (2011), long-serving MI5 officer Johnny Worricker (Nighy)'s life is thrown into turmoil when his friend and superior, Benedict Baron (Michael Gambon), dies in mysterious circumstances. As well as dealing with the emotional impact of the loss of his friend, Johnny must work out what to do with a top secret file Benedict has bequeathed him - a file with the potential to rock the very heart of MI5. In 'Turks and Caicos' (2014), Worricker quits his job at MI5 and travels to the Turks and Caicos Islands to put his work behind him. However, an encounter with a CIA agent soon puts him back on the case when he is asked to uncover the real motives of a group of American businessmen who have appeared on the island to attend a conference on the world financial crisis. The supporting cast includes Helena Bonham Carter as Worricker's former girlfriend Margot Tyrell and Ralph Fiennes as British Prime Minister Alec Beasley. 'Salting the Battlefield' (2014), sees Worricker and Margot on the run in Europe from MI5, but the added pressures of avoiding capture prove too heavy for either of them to maintain. In an attempt to resolve the situation, Worricker returns to Britain to confront Prime Minister Beasley, but both sides have grievances to air. Can they come to a mutually beneficial agreement and move on?
