Mary Ryan and Mick Lally star in this Irish folk horror written and directed by Robert Wynne-Simmons. When the mysterious traveller and shaman Scarf Michael (Lally) arrives in an isolated community in pre-famine Ireland, he finds a kindred spirit in Maura (Ryan), a strange and quiet farm girl. However, it is not long before every misfortune that befalls the village is blamed on Maura and she soon stands accused of witchcraft. The cast also includes Don Foley, Paul Bennett and Brenda Scallon.
