Daniel Birt directs this British drama. When model Stella (Susan Pearson) is found strangled, Inspector West (Ballard Berkeley) and Sergeant Robbie Robertson (Duncan Lamont) are assigned to the case and discover that she wasn't as virtuous as she seemed, having had many affairs. Aggressive, drunken comments made the evening before by her beau, artist Clayton 'Clay' Hawkes (John Bailey), puts him in the spotlight as a possible culprit. Unable to recall that night's events or provide an alibi, Clay cannot defend himself against the claims and begins to question whether he really might be guilty...
