All the episodes from the sequel drama written by Paolo Sorrentino. Pope Pius XIII (Jude Law) has been made comatose due to several unsuccessful heart transplants. When the time comes to elect a new pope, Cardinal Viglietti becomes Pope Francis II (Marcello Romolo) but his term is short, and after making radical changes in the church he dies suddenly. Next in line is Sir John Brannox (John Malkovich), who has difficult decisions to make in becoming the next pope, and the uncertainty of Pius XIII's fate casts doubt over his potential future in the church.
