Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable and Montgomery Clift star in this Western directed by John Huston. Sensitive young divorcee Roslyn (Monroe) and her only friend, Isabelle (Thelma Ritter), meet three cowboy drifters, Gaylord (Gable), Perce (Clift) and Guido (Eli Wallach), who are in town for the rodeo.
