All three episodes from the BBC miniseries starring Albert Finney and based on the Kingsley Amis novel. The Green Man Inn is run by the promiscuous and lecherous Maurice Allington (Finney), who likes to frighten his clientele with claims that the premises are haunted by ghosts. However, when his made-up phantoms seem to take shape and become real, Maurice has no way of controlling the unruly consequences that follow. The cast also includes Linda Marlowe, Josie Lawrence and Michael Culver.
