Jim Henson and Frank Oz direct this fantasy adventure set on the planet Thra. 1000 years ago a mysterious crystal was broken and two new races were created: the evil Skeksis and the kind Mystics. Young Gelflings Jen (voice of Stephen Garlick) and Kira (Lisa Maxwell) are the last of their kind and as such they are Thra's last hope. It is foretold that a Gelfling will restore the crystal but if they fail, the Skeksis will rule Thra forever. As the pair embark on a quest to find the missing shard and make the crystal whole once more, they face untold dangers and realise they are running out of time...
