Double bill of Hong Kong action thrillers directed by Johnnie To. In 'Running Out of Time' (1999) Andy Lau stars as Cheung Wah, a master criminal who learns that he is suffering from a terminal illness and only has 72 hours to live. Determined to use this time to take revenge on the police and his gang rivals, the criminal genius initiates a dangerous game of cat and mouse with the authorities. When a mysterious criminal mastermind calling himself Ken (Ekin Cheng) blackmails a large corporation for 20 million dollars, he has the opportunity to get back into action.
