Catherine Deneuve stars in this psychological horror directed by Roman Polanski. Carol (Deneuve) is left alone in the Kensington apartment she shares with her sister Helen (Yvonne Furneaux) when Helen and her married lover Michael (Ian Hendry) go away on holiday.
