One week before Christmas, nine-year-old Jessie (Rebecca Harrell) discovers an injured reindeer in the woods near her home. She decides to nurse the animal back to health, despite the fact that her father is opposed to the idea. Over the next week, Jessie becomes convinced that her new friend is in fact Prancer - a member of Santa Claus' very own sledge team!
