Tom Savini directs this remake of George A. Romero's horror classic. When siblings Barbara (Patricia Tallman) and Johnny (Bill Mosley) visit their mother's grave, they are attacked in the cemetery and Johnny is killed. Barbara escapes to a nearby farmhouse where she finds a small group of fellow survivors but they cannot agree on how best to proceed. As they attempt to improve the farmhouse's defences, they attract a swarm of zombies. Ben (Tony Todd) tries his best to protect the group but chaos ensues when the horde breaks in. The cast also includes Tom Towles, Katie Finneran and Mckee Anderson.
