American gangster drama starring David Arquette as Sergeant Ed Croswell, a New York State trooper who is determined to infiltrate the mafia influence running his small town. New boss of the New York mafia Vito Genovese (Robert Davi) calls for a secret meeting between all of the mafia's heads and associates in a remote location. When Sgt Ed Croswell recognises a known mobster in town stocking up on food and drink he becomes suspicious and makes efforts to find out what is going on. Without support from his superiors, however, Croswell must take on the might of organised crime on his own.
