Collection of eight musicals starring Elvis Presley. In 'G.I. Blues' (1960) guitar-picking soldier Tulsa McLean (Presley) accepts a bet that he can spend the night with a cabaret dancer, hoping to use the proceeds to open a nightclub. In 'King Creole' (1958) Elvis stars as Danny Fisher, a juvenile delinquent who works his way up from bus boy to nightclub singer, only to fall in with a bunch of gangsters and criminals. Danny wants to do things the honest way, but mobster Maxie Fields (Walter Matthau) is determined to get the young fellow playing on his team. In 'Blue Hawaii' (1961) Presley stars as Chad Gates, an ex-soldier who returns home to Hawaii with three things on his mind: fun, music and girls. Chad's mother, Sarah Lee (Angela Lansbury), wants him to embark on a career in business, but Chad has other ideas and takes a job as a tour guide. In 'Girls! Girls! Girls!' (1962) Presley stars as hobby sailor Ross Carpenter, who runs a fishing boat. Ross finds himself pursued by a throng of girls, but can't decide which one he likes the most. In 'Fun in Acapulco' (1963) Presley stars as lifeguard-turned-entertainer Mike Windgren in the Mexican resort of Acapulco, where he suddenly finds himself the object of the affections of a female bullfighter. In 'Easy Come, Easy Go' (1967) Elvis stars as a scuba diver who believes he has found some buried treasure. In 'Roustabout' (1964) Presley plays Charlie Rogers, a freewheeling motorcyclist who takes a job with Maggie Morgan (Barbara Stanwyck)'s carnival when his bike breaks down. Maggie sets Charlie to work as hired muscle, but when she catches a glimpse of his rock 'n' roll talents she realises he can help out in other ways too, and soon Charlie is rocking the carnival out of bankruptcy. Finally, in 'Paradise, Hawaiian Style' (1966) Rick Richards (Presley) returns to his home in Hawaii to set up a charter helicopter service.
