Polish espionage thriller. Ryszard Kuklinski (Marcin Dorocinski), a colonel in the Polish People's Army, discovers that a NATO counter-attack on the Soviets would mean his country being turned into a nuclear wasteland. In order to avoid an all-out nuclear war, he begins supplying information to the CIA; a potentially life-threatening act of treason which puts his whole family in danger. Working alongside his fellow officers with access to secret Soviet documentation, can he avoid detection?
