Wendy Hiller stars in this romantic drama written and directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger. Joan Webster (Hiller) has always known what she wants to get out of life and now she is ready to marry a rich, older man who lives on a Hebridean island. As she travels to meet him, bad weather delays the final part of her journey and leaves her stranded on Mull.
