Errol Flynn and Ann Sheridan star in this wartime drama which follows the community of a Norwegian fishing village in their uprising against Nazi invasion. As the village of Trollness begins to feel the weight of Nazi occupation, an underground resistance chamber takes momentum and hatches plans to gather weapons and ambush the Nazi soldiers. A family divided by allegiance is thrust into the middle of the fight, with two members acting as Nazi-sympathisers and young couple Gunnar and Karen (Flynn and Sheridan) leading the resistance. As the Nazis unleash their brutality on the community, they must act fast if they are to reclaim the village and save their people from oppression.
