Comedy drama starring Colin Firth and Emily Blunt. Dissatisfied with his life, former professional golf player Wallace Avery (Firth) fakes his own death, assumes the new identity of 'Arthur Newman' and sets out on a journey to Indiana, leaving his girlfriend Mina (Anne Heche) and son Kevin (Lucas Hedges) behind. Along the way Arthur meets Charlotte Fitzgerald (Blunt), an attractive but troubled young woman who it transpires is also using a fake identity. She joins Arthur on the road and their friendship soon blossoms into romance but will they be able to keep running from the past?
