Tyrone Power and Kim Novak star in this musical biography of Eddy Duchin, the pianist and bandleader who took the New York music scene by storm in the 1930s and 1940s. Despite his formidable talent and his marriage to heiress and society girl Marjorie Oelrichs (Kim Novak), Duchin's life later becomes beset by tragedy as he loses all that is most important to him.
