Woo-Ping Yuen directs this martial arts action sequel. Following on from his defeat at the hands of Ip Man, Cheung Tin Chi (Jin Zhang) attempts to live a quiet life and puts his martial arts skills to rest. However, an accidental run-in with a woman in distress sees Cheung having to defeat and fend off a ruthless gang who will stop at nothing to have their revenge on those who cross them. Cheung must find the confidence to make use of his Wing Chun techniques once more, especially when his family become a target for the gang. The cast also includes Dave Bautista, Yan Liu and Michelle Yeoh.
