Sylvester Stallone stars as security specialist Ray Breslin in this trilogy of action dramas. In the first instalment Ray is framed and incarcerated in a prison of his own design by the ruthless Warden Hobbes (Jim Caviezel). In order to escape he approaches fellow prisoner and old-timer Swan Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger), however, he only agrees to help if Ray will allow him to escape too. In 'Escape Plan 2' (2018) Ray must once again utilise his skills when one of his team is trapped inside a maximum security prison known as Hades. In order to rescue Shu (Huang Xiaoming) Ray must infiltrate Hades and then find a way out again but with watertight levels of security and every inmate working to stay alive, the security veteran must act fast if he is to save Shu as well as himself. Finally, in 'Escape Plan 3' (2019) Ray and his team are in Latvia for their latest operation when Ray's girlfriend Abigail (Jaime King) is kidnapped by someone who has a personal vendetta against him. As Trent DeRosa (Dave Bautista) and Hush (Curtis Jackson) help Ray to locate Abigail they must also complete their initial mission of rescuing a Hong Kong media mogul's daughter from a high security prison.
